"One high-profile government official" and "one high-profile former politician" is language he's used before and it's reasonably obvious that means Trump and Clinton, or at least Massie doesn't mind that being the strong implication.

The phenomenon is visible on several AIS-services. I just noticed it and am not sure of the how, why or what.
It is too widespread to come from one shore station, but still limited in spatial spread. Could be an online attack, but it hit several services simultaneously. Input welcome.

In an area from approximately Bornholm to mid Gulf of Finland hundreds (thousands?) of new AIS-messages suddenly appeared. A large part of them military ships.
