Educators, students, parents. LLM-based AI - like ChatGPT and OpenAI - are lie factories and plagiarism-ecocide machines. Don't use them. They are one more reason venture capitalists should be ashamed. What they fund is lies and dehumanization. No one wants AI slop.
When I left the Washington Post in 2023, my colleagues and I were worried AI would hoover up our work and enable "zombies" to churn out stories based on our reporting and writing styles.

Genuinely think using something like chatgpt in your job should be a sackable offence for many reasons but for one its so untrustworthy that it will always be a dereliction of responsibility and kind of deliberate sabotage

It's really telling that Judith Shulevitz (@judithshul.bsky.social) chose to disable replies and retweets because silencing dissent is the a key way Zionists win arguments. The morality Zionism is indefensible within Jewish theology and they know that.

Why are Republicans fighting so hard to be able to examine children's genitals?
Republicans in West Virginia passed a bill that would allow health care providers to “visually or physically examine a minor child” for the purpose of identifying their “biological sex” without the “consent of the child’s parent, guardian, or custodian.”

OMFG I just confirmed against the ISO 8601 standard and he’s right.
To be technical, some COBOL programs will use Julian dates and Nine’s Complement, there is no standard date type is the point made here so “anomalies” are likely local programming conventions that they could ask about

When I heard Musk say this on Tuesday, my assumption was that it was a programming issue. Because I can code and have written to databases and because I am familiar with other examples of default values being misinterpreted.
