So I finished The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow last night and WOW. The best thing I can say about it was that it felt like I was playing a Hammer Horror film from the late 60’s (and I’m a huge Hammer Horror fan). I could see the film in my head, the atmosphere of the game was that good.

Take this for what it’s worth (which is nothing), but in addition to their hometown team, I think every American NHL fan should also embrace a Canadian team as well. For me it’s the Ottawa Senators. #nhl

None of the other PC handhelds have come up with a control layout as good as the Steam Deck either. The trackpads on the Deck are a huge plus. I can’t imagine trying to play something like FTL without them.
The Steam Deck has been out for 3 years and nobody can best it.
More powerful handhelds are in 1 of 2 camps.
1. Actually more powerful and runs games slightly better but WAY more expensive.
2. More powerful on paper but either matches Steam Deck performance or even falls behind due to Windows.
