The worst review I can give to a book, worse than I grudge-finished it or even DNF, is "I forgot I was reading it." This goes double when the book in question is a novella.

Amazing that some absolutely mundane and boring things suddenly can become hilarious at the right moment. At the same time things that were hilarious yesterday evening might not seem funny at all in the morning 🙄
Realizing that nothing is funny to everyone and that humor doesn't fail gracefully; if people don't find what you're saying/doing amusing, they will be irritated because they were promised comedy. To do humor or comedy is to know you will always fail, for some people, at some times. Do it anyway.
