It is my firm belief that 1/3 of humans are awful. Would sell their grandmother for a hamburger. Another third would like to be good, but don’t have the capacity to sustain it consistently.
I think we all know this but a lot of us desperately want to believe otherwise. We assume that most people are fundamentally decent and that we should be able to find common ground even if we disagree. It's shocking to find so many who genuinely have nothing but hate in their hearts.

Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.

4000 is easy to hit! It's a more achievable goal for more older adults than the oft-quoted but completely arbitrary 10000 steps.
WHAT THIS STUDY ADDS
Among older US women, achieving ≥4000 steps/day on 1–2 days per week, compared with 0 days, was associated with 26% lower all-cause mortality risk and 27% lower CVD risk, while achieving this on ≥3 days was associated with 40% and 27% lower risk, respectively.
