No Kings was a huge success. Just look at Trump's response.
Turnout was enormous. There was no violence. And the wannabe king is triggered.

Today we show the world that in America we are not scared of Trump and his pathetic, vile regime.

Today we show the world that America does not want a tyrant and does not want a king.

Today, let’s make history with the largest peaceful protest ever.

The ICE raids, the Guard deployments, the fear — it’s all real.
But I can’t shake the feeling that Trump pushed too far too fast.
People are waking up. Judges are pushing back.
Maybe this isn’t the end of democracy — maybe it’s the moment it remembers to fight back.

>”It begs the question of who’s funding it.”

To account for the lavish self-funding of my own #NoKings participation: poster board cost me about $8.00 at Staples, I already had Sharpies, and gas downtown and back runs maybe a buck & a half. Same with my friends. I feel like we’re all mini-Soroses.

CNBC: "Very disappointing. It's a weak number. This is private sector jobs for September. The total comes in -32,000. And that was a surprise because economists were looking for an increase of 51,000. Also, the revision was not good. August now showing -3,000 compared to the initial read of 54,000"

An incredibly important election in a tiny country just went the right way. Moldova has resisted a huge Russian disinformation campaign and will not become a Russian puppet state.

The problem is that ‘this is not who we are’ is coming to feel a little empirically unconvincing. It might help if the PM actually stood up and made the case for a liberal, tolerant and inclusive country.
It didn't work out for me in the race to be deputy leader, but given events today, am sharing this again.

We in Labour are uniquely placed to bring our diverse country together against the forces of hate. When we stand up for each other, we all win.

'We win when we fight together – that's the story Labour needs to tell' - LabourList
We can never give in to the forces that would divide us and send us backwards.  The answer is the Labour winning over a broad coalition for our future.

I'm also terribly proud that people who go on as guests of the World Service, or who listen, might hopefully come to associate Britain with its output: curious, gentle, fair, expansive. I hate all that 'soft power' bollocks, but it's a tremendously good shop window for a country.

Seemingly even the Telegraph weren't shameless enough for this - it's been taken down, and all links go to the homepage, which leads with attacks on trans people, and blaming Starmer for Brexit.

So they're still shameless about some stuff.
