We began as many Allied troops did in WW1, waking to the bells of Sint Janskerk & took time to adjust to our new surroundings, visiting Talbot House before we went to the old frontline in Ypres.

I can’t tell you in a few words the level of surprise at the state of UK roads. Personally I think the whole network needs complete overhaul in design specifications & route efficiency, but hopefully this is a start

Come on people, social media didn’t make kids bad at reading comprehension. That frames the unacceptable as inevitable. Mass disinvestment from humanities education, from teaching nuance, critique, and deliberation did. Policy is the problem and policy is the solution. Eyes on the prize.
