Cfb writers must be brain dead to think that the first round of playoffs was awful. This is football. This is what we wanted.

Some days, I wish I could channel the self-confidence of a cat.

HBO has declined to renew “Sesame Street” for new episodes. The series that’s been teaching generations of little kids since 1969 now has no studio.

Please consider donating to Sesame Workshop to ensure the residents of 123 Sesame Street are still around to teach kids of all needs and backgrounds.

Focus on the changes you can make today. Not how much further you have until your goal

I have been living under a rock (apparently) because I was today years old when I learned about Electron.

I usually watch football on mute these days. The talking heads and commercials take so much away from the actual game.

Why do I always get the extra dessert? My tummy hurts

I am a big believer in incremental change, being more important than big goals or gestures. I am thinking of building an experiment tracker and dashboard to track changes I make and how they work out.

Then remind yourself that it’s not the future or the past that bears down on you, but only the present, always the present, which becomes an even smaller thing when isolated in this way and when the mind that cannot bear up under so slender an object is chastened.

I am a noob in the desktop app space.

What should new apps be made in?

WinUI3, WPF, React Native something else?

For better sleep, I am trying to turn off electronics at 10 and be in bed by 10:30. The room is dark. I journal right before laying down.

Any other tips or tricks I should try?

I have been fighting lethargy and a lack of discipline around getting tasks done.

This is what I am doing to combat it:
- stricter routine. Get up, work out, sleep on a schedule.
- making time for exercise.
- Journaling and mindfulness activities throughout the day.

I have been struggling with lethargy and getting things done. I am planning on doing a write-up on how I am going to change that going forward. Will share here when done.

Dear Diner:
Just be a diner. Don’t renovate to try to look fancier or sexier or like something you’re not. Just be a diner. We love you for it, and we sometimes need a break from the “it” restaurants. Extra points for linoleum tabletops, vinyl booths, good coffee, and the definitive burger deluxe.
