My partner and i were both food insecure as kids/teens. Now we have 3 freezers consistantly full because you go to bed hungry enough times it breaks something in you. A lot of one freezer is scraps. Bones and fat trimmed off meat. Onion skins. Carrot tops. The center to peppers. Herb stems. 1/2

I'm sad to share that the trans vet that took her life outside the VA last week was apparently Elisa Rae Shupe.
She's someone many of us know - she was responsible for the mass email leak that let us know how the ADF, Heritage, etc planned to enact trans eradication we see today.
