This whole campaign saying Diego Luna should have been nominated for an Emmy for what I assume was the ONE flop near the box in the US vs Costa Rica game from an actual (soft) foul is really something…

Editors: adjust your automated messages and templates you use when you decide you don’t need a review anymore to say that you will still consider your colleagues review if they have already started working on it.

Cool paper!
Therapists, such good food for thought in the paper below 👇📰💡‼️
If we think something is working for you in #therapy, is it really working? Or are we falling for a cognitive bias? 🤔
Would be interesting to hear some thoughts…💭

Scientists, academics, researchers: We’re excited to share that @altmetric.com is now tracking mentions of your research on Bluesky! 🧪
There are already many articles for which there is more attention on Bluesky than on other comparable micro-blogging sites, meaning the academic community and the general public have clearly adopted Bluesky as one of its core places to disseminate and discuss new research.

A Place of Joy.

Gonna use this
For people who want to advocate for more rigorous methods in clinical research...it's in the Declaration of Helsinki. It's right there. Use this!
And more focus on methodological rigor, specifically for the purpose of avoiding Research Waste.

You can't say you weren't warned.

Have to agree. PIs of labs are expected to be CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CIOs, CTOs, etc. We aren’t going to be very effective CMOs competing with dark money especially without new resources to do so.
But scientists have almost no control over whether the public trusts science. And they can’t fight well funded right wing actors pushing mistrust in science and intellectual elites 3

At a faculty candidate dinner today, the hidden curriculum of faculty interviews came up? Our EDID committee will review what is communicated to candidates! What are things that you wish you were told/communicated clearer? Would love to hear from first-gen/faculty with non-linear paths? Please RT!

Here's a fun way to encourage students to always look at their data. A few years ago, I wrote a script that converts a black and white png to data and plots it.

Dear programs who do this: Just don't. You don't get to assign your colleagues special homework just for you. If you do, my answer to every question is "see attached letter". Also, all rating scales must die.
