I wasn’t really sure what to call this creature so I settled on “Fish-Cat”. 🥴🥴

I originally saw this sculpture while unpacking a box in a dream I had. I loved it so much I thought it'd be fun to bring them to "real" life! 😂😂

A ceramic sculpture of a fish but it has four legs like a quadruped animal. They are painted in a way to mimic blue and white porcelain, and have a decorative handmade blue tassel and little bell attached to their chest. They appear as though they are singing the beautiful songs of their fish-cat people.

Found my new favourite camo pattern in Major John Langdon-Davies' "The Home Guard Fieldcraft Manual"
TO MAKE A SNIPER SUIT TO MAKE THE SMOCK from a piece of hessian 6ft by 10ft (weighs 8 to 10oz) A FOLD hessian twice as sketch A and chalk out design as on sketch B- make sure that folds are on correct sides B CUT away the shaded area and lay the pattern out as in sketch C. STITCH front and back together along dotted lines with strong thread NECK Turn over a 1 inch hem at neck and stitch down after inserting cord-sketch D POCKET Cut a slit in front for access to ammunition- and stitch around to prevent fraying FLAP Stitch flap to hang over the slit as in sketch E Above dimensions are for a large man. PAINTING IN TWO COLOURS on hessian SMOCKS- White-unpainted hessian 1 DESIGN suited to agricultural, hedge, field and parkland. DARK OLIVE GREEN ALMOST BLACK STANDARD COLOUR 13 & 14 OR 1A(?) DESIGN 2 Suited to rocks, stones, earth, and sandbags DARK BROWN STANDARD COLOUR 1A WARM GREY OR LIGHT EARTH STANDARD COLOURS 2 TO 5 SPOTS MARKED W=WHITE TO MAKE THE HOOD To be worn by roving(?) snipers or with above smock To be made of a piece of hessian 3ft by 5ft FOLD hessian as for smock and chalk out design in sketch F. CUT away the shaded area and lay out as in sketch G. STITCH the back and front together with strong thread. 3 DESIGN suited to buildings DARK BROWN STANDARD COLOUR 1A BRICK RED OR STONE STANDARD COLOUR 10, 11, OR 11A TO SUIT LOCAL BUILDINGS TO PAINT Chalk out design, then paint-leaving rough edges-coloured areas need not meet exactly. A disrupted effect is required, leave a definate gap between the colours. Dry matt paint will do. HOODS- COLOUR the hoods as smocks- see colour keys above The above designs are only intended to be used as guides. Pattern and colour must fit local background. EYE APERTURE Place hood over head and chalk an oblong in front of your eyes-6 inches by 1½(Sketch G). Cut all across threads at sides and alternate threads at top and bottom of oblong, and pull them out.
