I fucking love dinosaurs… that is all you need to know about me.

Also, public health policy veterinarian with domestic and international experience. Whatever you’re assuming I do…you’re wrong.
Got added to a chat I don’t recognize. Gonna hang around and see if SecDef tells me something I shouldn’t know.

Taking away Clinton and Harris’s clearances seems silly when they can just get the information from the group chat.

mRNA vaccines are the biggest breakthrough in disease prevention and treatment in decades. We're curing *cancer* with mRNA vaccines. To eliminate research in this field, at this moment, is fall-of-the-empire-grade stuff.

And when have they ever gotten something like this wrong….
We don’t if they were gang members, only that Trump’s DOJ says they were. But they’ve had no trials. They are “accused.” They are “alleged” to be members of a gang that Trump has named. And now they are vanished.

This is an actual nightmare and we should be up in arms.
250 Venezuelans have been disappeared into one of the worst prisons in Central America based on Trump’s invocation of a law only used 3 times in our history - the last time resulted in the Japanese-American internment. These men have had no due process. It’s monstrous.

Endless bullshit
"The Trump administration recently denied a funding request from the city of Asheville, North Carolina, to help its recovery from Hurricane Helene, telling the city it must cut a program meant to aid female and minority contractors."

This is ridiculous bullshit.

Veterans who already completed their service and are entitled to care are going to see their medical care discontinued wholly or partially in an act of venal discrimination with absolutely no standing whatsoever.

Get fucked.

Kind of makes us…NOT alarmists, then.

Doesn’t it fucking just?
This is one of the most like THE MOST maddening headlines I've ever read. The amount of spin it entails threatens to break my neck both from the spinning and how hard I am rolling my eyes.

So this is fascinating, both for what it is and for being a window into an organised mind capable of extraordinary clarity. I’m happy with my weird, funhouse mirror cognition, but if I had to have another kind of brain I would like one that can do this, please.

🧵Who is opposing the Trump administration?

I analysed 76 actions of the administration since inauguration and then searched for *meaningful* opposition to each.

I grouped the types of opposition and considered what we can learn from both them & actions where opposition has been lacking 1/24
