I'm sad to share that the trans vet that took her life outside the VA last week was apparently Elisa Rae Shupe.
She's someone many of us know - she was responsible for the mass email leak that let us know how the ADF, Heritage, etc planned to enact trans eradication we see today.
RIP Elisa.

I tell ya it’s tough out there… I went to get my passport renewed, they tried tellin me sex is the same thing as gender. I said like hell it is! For one thing, my wife’s not having gender with the mailman.

Richard Stallman effectively started my career by telling me to learn #Lisp as a teenager. When I reached out years later to tell him of my love for #Clojure, he told me that it was not Lisp and that me using the #EPL is damaging to #FOSS. Then he asked for free labor. Thanks bro, still love you.
