Nearly every panel I spoke on this year ended with the same question: "What gives you hope?"

My friends, that question expired years ago. (If you need receipts, my book Saving Us is literally a 300-page answer.)

The real question is: How are you PRACTICING hope?

Because Greta is right ..

Used to be near home. Many excellent trails in this area, including through the Nassagaweya Valley to Crawford Lake.
I’ve driven by the Kelso bit of the escarpment on Highway 401 my entire life. The landmark entrance to the GTA when coming from the west. Today we finally hiked this part of the Bruce Trail.

I mean, the Oxford commas alone...
Granted, it may not solve all of the problems currently facing the world, but I think we can all agree that having more bakeries, libraries, gargoyles, quaint cafés, cemetery picnics, museums, handwritten letters, independent bookstores, and Oxford commas would be an important first step.

A lot of Americans don't know this, but the winner of the Canadian election will be required live in a small cottage located in the backyard of the palace where the viceroy to the King of England lives.

The cottage just recently got a new wifi router, which was very exciting for all Canadians.

"[Trump's] still claiming we’re subsidizing Canada by $200 billion a year. Aside from the basic mistake of claiming that a Canadian trade surplus means we’re somehow subsidizing Canada, he’s inflating the actual trade surplus by a factor of three."

Me, that one time: My job is to pour the pasta directly into the sink. That’s my job, to boil the water, cook the pasta and not put a strainer in the sink and then just dump the pasta right in there and that’s what I did.
Hegseth: My job, as it said, on top of that, everybody's seen it now. Team update is to provide updates in real time, general updates in real time. Keep everybody informed. That's what I did. That's my job.

Great thread.
When I worked on The Office, Greg Daniels had a list of questions he asked of every story. Some were show-specific (eg “Are we saying something truthful if exaggerated about office life?”), but many are applicable to any script. Here’s a little thread on them…
