My 4 year old came home from school with this in her bag. She made it and its name is Mr. Trousers apparently.

Glen Michael was part of Scottish Television for 26 years.

Generations of kids have been enthralled by his Cartoon Cavalcade series.

Glen passed away on 9 July 2025 at the age of 99.

Glen Michael was born on 16 May 1926 and passed away on 9 July 2025 at the age of 99. He was a children's television presenter and entertainer based in central Scotland even though he was born in Devon. His career at Scottish Television spanned 26 years with the popular children's show Glen Michael's Cartoon Cavalcade which he hosted with Paladin the talking lamp, Totty the Robot and dogs Rudi and Rusti. Though just a show for the STV region, it was also shown in the Grampian region in the 1970's and 1980's, and in its early days in the 1960's on Southern and Westward. Glen was also part of other shows made by STV, including Taggart, Living With Computers, Over to Una, Search for Beauty, Grand Tour, Friends and Neighbours, Would You Believe It? and Francie and Josie. Neil young just wasn’t for me. Looked a very small crowd for a Saturday headliner. The kids seem to be enjoying Charli Xcx and Doechii both of which were giving it the beans for their sets. My favourites so far have been Self Esteem and Ezra Collective.
