Hoping to see way less “FA”, and oh so much more “FO”!

Here for politics, comedy, art, and the 49ers. Not necessarily in that order. Avid reader who wishes he had the courage to write.

Call me Tom.

So here’s my take: I came here from Twitter to get away from all the shittery. I’m not going to automatically follow anyone just because they’re rabidly anti-Trump, or Poilievre, or whatever.

Let’s elevate the discourse, and shitcan the slogans and rhetoric.

Please.

Thanks!

With all due respect, sympathy from Americans is up there with “thoughts and prayers” after a school shooting.

America got what it voted for. So much for the bastion of democracy it once was.

Will Americans change what America is?

We’ll see.

I need a palette cleanse.

Too much time on twitter, and my feed has gotten more and more hate-laden.

Open support for Nazis.
Open racism.

What will become of us?

Not going to get (too) political here, but the leading candidates for LPC leadership have put out more substance in the last week than we’ve seen in the last couple of years, especially from the opposition.

The bitcoin bros have made it to Bluesky.

Don’t follow me, or auto-block gets engaged.

And wtf is a ‘meme coin’?

Has Bluesky turned a corner for the worse? I’m getting a lot of what I think are bit follows. I’ve blocked the obvious ones, and I hope I’m wrong, but fear that I am not.

It’s time. It’s over. He has to know it’s over, right?

I mean, what other sign could be more clear?

Continuing means a total destruction of the Liberal party in the polls.

This is not football, you don’t get to tank for a good draft pick.

So, I just followed everyone in the 49ers faithful starter pack.

Please please please let this not be the self-hating shitshow that 49ers twitter is.

I should really post more often.

Seeing as Bluesky is in that phase of growth where users like nothing more than talking about the platform they are currently posting on, this live feed of EVERYTHING BEING POSTED HERE RIGHT NOW AS IT HAPPENS, IN 3D, will likely appeal: firehose3d.theo.io

Again, there is no algorithm on bluesky except in the “feeds,” so reposting as opposed to “liking” will help everyone find each other.

I could use one of these at work…..
“Yesterday I visited my son's school and I saw a bright colored bench in the yard. I asked if it was new.

He said to me, ′′no, that's the ‘friend’s bench.’ When someone is down, they'll sit there so others find them."

To me, that’s how finding Bluesky feels.

Follow us if you’d like a friend! 💙

Miss me with this. If the disagreement involves one side *winning an argument* and the other *losing their rights, lives, families or homeland*, then “staying friends” is a privilege of the former and not a priority of the latter
