My ideal is for titles outside of the big ones to be specific to a scenario or match-type. Tag team, trios, hardcore, mixed-tag, etc. They could even do submissions only.
For the Continental Classic, I like it as a tournament prize; don't think it should be defended or change hands outside of that.
