UK Gouvernment: Payment Processors Can Ban NSFW Content
According to the UK treasury, payment processors are in the right and the gouvernment has no plans to step in. This puts it in direct contrast to what artists and the UK games industry have asked for.

Please don’t mark your online shop orders as a “gift” or ask shops to do this for you! Maybe you can get away with it a few times (I’m sure some people do), but it’s very bad advice. You absolutely don’t want to get in trouble for tax or mail fraud.

Also please understand marking an item as a “gift” does not diminish the chance of import fees/tariffs being tacked onto them.

It is also illegal for me to mark the item as a “gift” when you purchase it via an online store platform like Etsy, Shopify, BigCartel, etc.

Visa and Mastercard now say you can't pay for WoW. Magic the Gathering. FFXIV. DnD. Lord of the Rings. Because they're all "adult" content against their ToS just for being "fantasy".

Let that sink in.

Woke up to quite the update on this. I had been in contact with Payment Cloud about getting their service and they waited until now to hit me with the image below. Again, stringing me along instead of being upfront. They had seen my website multiple times before this.
