look at these responses for yourself and see that few people can even be bothered to even respond (one investor rep seemed confused about whether they had actually invested?). they are banking on everyone moving on. cowardice as a crisis comms strategy.

Best as I can tell, the only thing that can truly "cancel" you politically now is a loss of attention or a loss of money and, thanks to digital platforms, attention is a conversion unit for money. Which, no matter what side you're on, has huge implications for the future of American democracy.

i recognize that this is not actually how anything works in the real world but more than anything i'm shocked at the total lack of *embarrassment* from the people who own, run, and even work at these platforms. setting aside the "politics"—these platforms are just awash in depressing low-rent slop
