It is 100% carrying water for the opposition to participate in this collective delusion that Dems for some reason need to answer for every teen who throws a rock rather than hold the Trump admin accountable for intentionally creating chaos and breaking the law to stoke violence.

They are in charge.

I will be damned if I allow a bunch of Confederate-waving January 6th apologists give the American people a lecture on flag waving.

There is ZERO reason to enter an argument about patriotism with people who still worship traitors to America 150+ years later.

They. Are. Breaking. The. Law.

Barro is the boob who thought Eric Adams was great democratic presidential material. Not sure I’d take him too seriously
I once again want to remind everyone that Josh Barro, the author of the new in an endless line of “Bluesky is evil because people make fun of me” stories, blocked me on Twitter because I kept replying to him with pictures of the smart Gremlin from Gremlins 2

It's typical that the New York Times would write this ...

"The death of outrage in the Trump era, or at least the dearth of outrage, exemplifies how far the president has moved the lines of accepted behavior in Washington."

... when NYT spent years normalizing Trump's misconduct.

This utterly unremarkable extension of a lunatic tariff war will somehow be read as progress.
Your now-regular reminder that the global economy is being whipsawed by a guy who hasn’t got the vaguest idea how the global economy works

Trump did not pause his tariffs with 125% on Chinese imports, 25% on aluminum, steel, autos, and non-treaty goods from Mexico and Canada, 10% on all other imports. More tariffs to come in pharmaceuticals, etc. Overall, 10x+ increase. Schumer is messaging for Trump now.
History will remember April 9, 2025 as America’s actual liberation day—the day that President Trump backed down from his ridiculous tariff fiasco.

Today my son’s middle school has a run, hide, fight drill for a shooter on campus. It is so hard to imagine this is a normal thing to practice - running from a shooter. How did this happen?

I’m not sure I’ve even had a single discussion about Ancient Rome after leaving university. The notion it preoccupies men’s thoughts is just strange. One weird survey and people lose their heads.

Either there is a ton of unseen activity going on to stop this from happening again, or it happens again. If Musk’s aggression goes unpunished, his government contracts stay intact, there is nothing besides the whims of a feckless dolt to prevent more damaging acts.

Someone needs to ask Linda Yaccarino if she agrees that the ADL has crippled twitter? That’s what her boss says.

Oh, you think Elon Musk is anti-Semite? Well, one of his best friends is Jewish. Now you owe an apology to him AND Ghislaine Maxwell.

This guy tweets 14s and 44s and goes out of his way to amplify self acknowledged nazis. I think there might be a defamation suit here, for the ADL. (Not really since defamation is a hard win in court.)

Governor DeSantis’ presidential campaign created and released a propaganda video using Nazi imagery just a few weeks ago. Yesterday, a Nazi killer slaughtered black people in one of the largest cities in Florida. That is what real grooming in action looks like.

The varied interpretations of Trump’s mugshot are interesting. The MAGA world view it as defiant & strong, and interpret his “no surrender” post, made right after he just surrendered, as a call to action. Others perceive it as thuggish & petulant. It’s a testament to the different worlds we live in.

Ramaswamy supports Russia's conquest of Ukraine, is fine with China invading Taiwan, is comfortable with bombing Mexico, wants to fire 80% of government workers on his 1st day, cool with revoking voting rights, and thinks the Constitution was drafted before the Revolution. This is the debate winner?
