The nerve to do this, with just seconds left, is extraordinary
Yep, why not score a goal from your own half in the 98th minute?

Absolutely iconic from Troy Parrott!

Fantastic for Pino, he's been great for a while now. Very much the icing on the cake.

Five straight wins to four straight losses for Liverpool is mad. I can't work out how they thought spending 200 mill on two players for one position and ignoring a total lack of defensive depth made any sense at all.

It must be so strange for West Ham fans to consistently leave their own ground early every match

I'm sure there's a Greek myth Marinakis should have read somewhere about this
Marinakis has properly cursed himself by pushing Crystal Palace out of the Europa League. Don't go near any eagles, mate.

A good result (and actually a great performance) today. Bournemouth are generally great this time of year before the injuries and tiredness hit in the second half of the season* so to come back in that manner was excellent.

*Cue this being another dire prediction

Well this was a dire prediction. I'm still surprised how quickly he was sacked. If only they had been in the conference league, maybe Ange would have got a win and still be in a job?
I can definitely see this happening long term, but in the interim there's often that phase where the new attacking manager benefits from the organisational skills of the departing manager. So up until Christmas I can see them looking quite good.
Nottingham Forest players are “going to be exposed” under new head coach Ange Postecoglou, according to a former Liverpool player.

Listening to @wanderinggaia.bsky.social on Radio 4 yesterday, one of the best interviews I've heard for a while. Such knowledgeable and thoughtful answers on the topic of immigration which has been completely missing from recent debates.

'One Battle After Another' is just superb. Maybe Di Caprio's best ever performance - he is just perfect for that slightly strange PTA humour. Mesmeric finale too. 7/7

No Wharton in the squad again? No Mitchell either

Obviously I'm biased but that's a real shame

Great win today, maybe the most complete performance under Glasner? Difficult to pick out one performance but Kamada was everywhere and always looking forward even if it didn't always come off. #CRYLIV

Exciting to see Pino start, and nice to not have two goalkeepers on the bench

All social media sites have horrible/unhinged people on them.

The difference with X is the owner is horrible and unhinged and is actively trying to push users towards his views.

Everyone into the streets to celebrate! Except the club accountant
Marc Guehi is expected to stay at Crystal Palace despite an agreement to take the defender to Liverpool being reached on deadline day. (David Ornstein)

Sooo... Has he gone or not?
If Guehi was staying, this would ultimately have been a successful window (albeit with very late signings). But he isn't, and it feels like we could have had a brilliant season if he had stayed.

A real risk that Glasner leaves now, it's a matter of time before another club comes knocking.

This Grimsby - United match is bizarre. The best thing you can say about United is that they've led Grimsby into 'most dangerous scoreline' territory.
