it’s actually not always easy to be a truly safe place to poc in this community because being actionable in making us feel included WILL get you pushback. it’s constantly uncomfortable for us to self advocate! it’s work for you too! white comfort virtue is still the highest value to these people.

Shit is very real in LA. It's surreal seeing people I went to school with posting Instagram stories of ICE raids happening right in the city I used to live in. They're going to factories, home depot, and other places of work just stuffing people into white vans. It's fucking disgusting.
