“Terrible things are happening outside. Poor helpless people are being dragged out of their homes. Families are torn apart. Men, women, and children are separated. Children come home from school to find that their parents have disappeared.”

From all the churches I went to, Bible verses I’ve read, and prayers I’ve said. I never learned more than being around other cultures, talking to people, and discovering more about the human condition. I feel the most love at protests. That’s where God is to me.

America is beautiful, contradictory, unfinished. I am proud of our country even as we constantly strive to make it better, to protect and deepen our democracy, to fulfill its promise for each and every person who calls it home.

$25 million in super PAC money couldn't buy an out of touch establishment the NY Mayor's seat because people want new, bold, authentic, and progressive leaders that will fight to lift up working families. Congratulations to Zohran Mamdani and the grassroots community that made this victory possible.
BREAKING: Zohran Mamdani is on track to become Dems' candidate for NYC mayor — toppling Andrew Cuomo's comeback dreams and putting incumbent Eric Adams on notice.

Cuomo has conceded and said he called to congratulate Mamdani.

🧵 NYC: Zohran Mamdani is an extraordinary political talent and he CAN win this.

What a signal that would send to the country and to the world.

If you have been on the fence, this is the moment to go all in.

Brilliant protest. Yosemite National Park workers hung an upside-down American flag — traditionally a symbol of distress or a national threat — thousands of feet off the ground on the side of El Capitan.

Just added a monthly donation. Right now I really feel like labor solidarity and mutual aid are the best ways to spend my money. If you can afford it, I'd encourage you to do the same
We are proud to share our skilled work and our knowledge about how your meal got to your table.

While we keep working, you can make a donation during this season of thanks and giving and help fund change all year long: ufw.org/thanksgiving... or paypal.com/paypalme/ufw...
