tl;dr: rare country vinyl collector
Anybody have a nice listening room to share? I love pictures of people's listening rooms.

Mine is a combination between a cartoon mad scientist lab and one of those pack rat mounds you find in the woods.

A picture found in a collection of 100 boxes of records I bought last week.

Two cool finds from yesterday. First printing of the first photography book by Gordon Parks and a book about Hawaiian lap steel.

There's a street in downtown Cleveland called Robert Lockwood Jr Dr. Do you have any pics or things of him in your collection? I know he's from down your way!

I'm updating my sale list. That's where I put all the odd country, doubles, small label, and non-country records I want to sell. Basically stuff that's too good to sell in bulk.

I send out an email with the list. Wanna be on the email? Drop me a line with your address and I'll make sure you get it.

I thought it would be fun to have the state pages on my database have a picture of the state flower representing them and this has sent me down the path of finding many beautiful old drawings of flowers.

This is one I've held on to for years. It's not a record I love, but it's so rare that trying to sell it causes me a bit of anxiety. This is an original 1960 stereo pressing that has been well loved. It has one skip that I couldn't fix, but it's just so damn rare that it still demands a decent price

Selling off some of my personal collection to help pay for child care. Let me know if you want anything!

Chiptune versions of Kid A and OK Computer, Old Sorcery (Dungeon Synth), Pig Destroyer and an original pressing of Dropdead.

Look, I know I'm not going to find the long lost Hank Williams recordings that no one ever dreamed of, but when I flip over an acetate with a label like this it really gives me a jolt. Because you never know.

All of my stickers are available wholesale to basically anyone. Want them on your merch table? You got it. Bookstore? Yes. Sell them in your vegan deli? Sure. On the table at your yoga retreat? Namaste. At your Raul Julia fan club meetings? You get the idea.

Drop me a line if you want any.

Can anyone help me find sleeves, specifically brown kraft paper acid-free sleeves. Bags Unlimited made them but they are discontinued, I need a replacement. I have 5000+ records in these and would like to keep using them but I'm almost out!

I didn't think I'd search for "crumhorn png" today but here I am

Some great western music on this acetate from Canada. It's labeled as the Round Up Rangers, which might be the same band that released a handful of 78s in the 1930s, but I'm not positive. Either way they sound great!

Here are a pair of discs recorded in Paris with Arabic handwriting on the labels. The first has two solo instrumentals and the second has two duets with piano. Listen here:

Any Arabic speakers want to help me translate a few handwritten labels?

I've just learned that @wcsb.bsky.social has shut down as we knew it. It's now a jazz station and not a student run radio station. I find it hard to describe just how big a loss this is to the local Cleveland music and student communities.

They are my favorite radio station in the country.

I'm in need of some song identification help. The first, second, and fourth song on this acetate I can't ID. Can you?

The first is a bluegrass instrumental, second is a yodeling western song and the last is a country song.

Here's a recording of "Mom & Dad Stasi" from "Christmas 1958" I transferred last month. It's like being a fly on the wall during a Christmas party. People are having a sing along with the piano and shouting at each other.

Just updated the stickers on the online shop. Added the Support Your Local Bookshop/Record Store stickers on there and made all the small stickers 2/$6 instead of $3.50 each.

If you own a book store or record store I'm wholesaling these for $1. Let me know if you'd like some!

Made some stickers I'm gonna send out to shops in wholesale orders.

Should I put them up for sale too? My initial feeling was that shops/stores can just give them out for free.

Just digitized this song by Glenda Kaye about her man who is 5'5" and how it doesn't matter how short he is. I think this is the first song country song I've heard about Short Kings.
