Don’t mind me. Just reminiscing about all the times my mom, an obvious closeted lesbian who knew Something Was Up with me (but not what), gave me advice on how to bury your feelings so you can Be Normal. How to stomach the opposite sex to have a family the ultimate end goal of life.
This is the thing no one is willing to fucking say out loud: We live in a world where people accept you're supposed to be miserable. You don't like men? Too bad. Most of us don't like our husbands, honey, but you have to grow up and pop out kids. That's just life.

The reason people twist themselves into knots to assert that suggesting someone might be a trans woman is immoral or harmful in some way is because people think we're icky and hate the idea of there being more of us in the world.
