Economic security is economic prosperity if regulated to prevent monopolies and excesses
FDR’s Second Bill of Rights said every American deserves a livable wage, a home, a job, healthcare, and education. Somewhere along the way, somebody took a hard right turn instead of left. We abandoned the idea that economic security is a right and we’re still paying the price for it.

Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you.”

Racism, sexism, gender identity and sexual orientation has been weaponized in America so that culture wars have replaced fighting for the little guy and gal.

That's how capitalism works. The rich and powerful control politicians through donations and they control information to public through media.

Finally, as LBJ said,

“If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket.

The rich only want to get richer and they will replace us with robots and starve us at this current rate. As long as the rich have it all, they don't care about regular society.

Set a trap!
Catch a Republirat!
For 80 years, Republicans' wet dream has been the undoing of the New Deal, including Social Security. They're closer now than ever to unraveling FDR's safety net. They don't know what they're in for. The malefactors of great wealth are back. They hate us, fear us, divide us. UNITE & FIGHT THEM.

All targets of the Republirats!
The elites called FDR a “traitor to his class.”

Major surviving programs and legislation implemented under Roosevelt include the Securities and Exchange Commission, the National Labor Relations Act, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and Social Security.

Reagan was evil
Reagan cut the education budget by 20%. Now 60% of Americans reading/writing at a 5th Grade level. 1 in 3 of these are at an 8 year old level. No critical literacy skills. 70% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. Work 2-3 jobs over 6-7 days. Pay rent & skip meals so their kids can eat.

Psychopaths will ALWAYS be a part of humanity. Therefore, democracy ALWAYS must be defended against them!

It's THIS simple.

I dunno lots of the “barons” did what they did for the sake of legacy. It was a time when reputations weren’t made by consumption so they sort of out did one another in acts of “altruism” of a kind that served their own class.

Carnegie did it in his old age almost as a form of atonement. Rightfully so after his monopoly and the riots at his steel mill.

We need big money out of campaigns. Repeal Citizens United. I have no problem with people making money. We are a capitalist society. But, be a Pritzker not a Trump.

Yeah, fair point. I don't think we "need" rich people at all.

But as long as we're stuck with 'em, I much prefer the FDRs of the world.

They're not very good men, but Carnegie and Rockefeller built universities and libraries with their money.

Trump builds monuments to his fragile ego with ours.

You know, FDR was an "elite." He came from money on both sides of his family.

Yet, he wasn't a predatory scumbag like pretty much all of our rich elites now. He looked out for the little guy. He looked out for the poor. FDR cared about people.

We really need a better class of rich people.
