I thought this would at least only start happening when twitter had a major outage or bsky becoming a little more established but i failed to take into account how insane things are and how white folks in any position of power can just pivot if things get uncomfortable for them.
When white ppl start talking about getting back to “healthy discourse” or “market place of ideas” or “everyone should have a voice” know that it’s gonna go downhill quick
