Turn the volume up!
Mamdani: So Donald Trump, since I know you're watching, I have four words for you: Turn the volume up.

It's official: Trump is insane

All these events he claims happened in 2020 - when none of these people were in any position of power and when Trump, not Biden, was president

There are no documents, just the things Crazy Trump hallucinates

That’s the spirit, Portland.
The war zone in Portland is out of control.

So worth a re-share and so darn on point! 😀
The Trump-China trade relationship reminds me of my middle school love life: On one week, off the week, high drama, passing notes, heartache, renewal, gossip, and we did it all again the next week.

The reality, of course, is that despite the drama, no-one was making long-term commitments.

Yes…just don’t
If you don’t like being called a racist, maybe don’t make a career of saying things that appeal to racists, don’t create a political party that keeps attracting racist candidates, don’t fawn over racist world leaders, and don’t make a convicted racist the guest of honour at your party conference.

Rising unemployment, rising prices, rising hate, rising attacks on the rule of law. Great job, Donnie.

The Admin is handling tariffs like a grad student assembling Ikea furniture: started keen, got partway through, lost the instructions, and half-formed tariffs are scattered everywhere. After weeks of inaction, Customs is meant to collect unannounced tariffs in just a few days.

There is no 'deal'...of course, there isn't
The more we learn about the U.S.-Japan "trade deal", the more we learn there is no deal.

Trump rushed out an "announcement" after a 70 minute conversation with Japan's trade negotiator and the press dutifully reported a deal.

1/ No text and widening disagreement on terms.

The British trade deal wasn't what they said it was, the Vietnamese are still yet to confirm Trump's announcement, and the Japanese say they're not signing a binding agreement. The White House has released the text of ZERO (0) deals, and maybe it's all just social media posts all the way down.
"Japanese officials said there was no written agreement with Washington — and no legally binding one would be drawn up", and surprise surprise, they deny giving Trump $550b to arbitrarily spend however he wants. www.ft.com/content/c118...

My dream commentating team for Wimbledon men's final? McEnroe and Agassi with a dollop of Murray tossed in. BBC, make it happen!

Exactly...what is the point?
What's the point of negotiating a deal with a bloke who won't stick to his side of it, eh?

The U.S. is imposing a 25% tariff on Korea because of trade deficits that it claims are "engendered by Korea's Tariff and Non Tariff, Policies and Trade Barriers." But Korea has a free trade agreement with the U.S. It charges zero tariffs on nearly everything.

'Homework and 'seriously' are two words unlikely to be associated with the TACO guy
"The tradition among American Presidents is: Speak softly and carry a big stick.

Do your homework first, think about what you wanna say, and then demand to be taken seriously."
