A must‑read: the essay uncovers decades of collusion between Russian intelligence and U.S. techno‑libertarians to spread disinformation that fractures society, paralyzes governance, and undermines NATO—a Moscow strategy to weaken the U.S. from within.
Russia's plan for the United States • desk russie
The goal of the Kremlin, along with that of the high-tech oligarchs, is to create an irreversible situation in the United States by making it ungovernable.

RAND PAUL: “.. When McKinley most famously put tariffs on in 1890, [the GOP] lost 50 percent of their seats in the next election. When [Smoot and Hawley] put on their tariff in the early 1930s, we lost the House and the Senate for 60 years.”

I’ve been seeing posts about the emotional and productivity benefits of a social media “fast”, with a minimum recommendation of four days.

I’m thinking that a week, beginning on Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday next Monday is an auspicious day to start that..

In the end Trump got away with everything (except the crimes and civil violations he committed in New York). And I don't blame Jack Smith. He did his job. I 100 percent blame Merrick Garland, who frittered away two full years and let Trump walk for stealing classified documents and fomenting a coup.
Yes, Jack Smith resigning was expected, but it still feels like justice has left the building.
I had such high hopes for trump and cabal to be held to account. 🤬😣 www.nbcnews.com/politics/jus...
Special Counsel Jack Smith resigns
The move was expected ahead of President-elect Donald Trump taking the oath of office.
