The censorship of 80+ games on Steam this week was apparently the work of Australian antiporn group Collective Shout, which partnered with US evangelicals to pressure Visa and Mastercard.

They claimed, without evidence, that the games involved child abuse.

Great work by @acvalens.net for VICE.
Group Behind Steam Censorship Policies Have Powerful Allies — And Targeted Popular Games With Outlandish Claims
The organization behind Steam's latest payment processor censorship, Collective Shout, appears to tell some misleading tales.

deeply frustrating that the Times is capable of this kind of reporting and has chosen to focus its efforts on what it sees as its primary job of driving trans people from public life and disciplining the left instead

Billionaires having failed upwards in a system designed to enrich them further while having the wealth and resources and people to delegate everything to had a monumental headstart on the kind of muppet who offloads their thinking to AI chatbots in the first place, so are the perfect gullible marks
Billionaires are convinced AI is on the verge of making new scientific discoveries because they don't understand how AI chatbots work.

Hey dumbfuck. Those things would have happened anyway because people wanted them. You know what things billionaires are responsible for that nobody wants?

The most expensive Healthcare on earth. A never-ending series of "once in a lifetime" financial crashes that happen ever 5 years.
I know it’s trendy to hate billionaires, but many didn’t get rich by accident.

Jeff Bezos made goods cheaper & quickly accessible. Bill Gates put computers in homes. Sergey Brin gave the world a search engine that works. I could go on.

So yes…they should exist.
NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani said Sunday that billionaires shouldn’t exist

I love this. Screens have become a legit problem in cars. And not just because they're a single point of failure to have access to functions of the vehicle.

Amazingly, reaction times using screens while driving are worse than being drunk or high—no wonder 90 percent of drivers hate using touchscreens in cars.

Finally the auto industry is coming to its senses. Real buttons are sooooooo back baby!
