The emergency vet felt a mass on Misty’s throat, and with the steroids showing no sign of improvement and her being unable to drink the vet advised that euthanasia was the kindest path to take.

Misty has deteriorated and I’m currently waiting on the phone to get through to an emergency vet.
I’m going to max out my credit card and do everything I can for her. I will be opening emergency pay-what-you-want commissions.

I don’t want to jinx it but I started sertraline a week ago and I’m starting to feel a bit better mentally. I have a bit more energy and I’m sleeping much better - hopefully that’s a sign it’s working :)
