Beautiful riso-printed version of @courtniewolfgang.bsky.social's urgent zine on supporting+affirming trans+queer students+educators vs the "radical indoctrination" EO's violence. Anyone can read the PDF version of the zine+print it (share/leave copies around) for free zinebakery.com/redistro/sup...

the first rule of making zines is that there are no rules. the second rule is to always check if your printer setting is to "flip on long edge" or "flip on short edge".
I know I haven't been printing enough zines lately because of how long it's been since I bought printer paper

Gay liberation activists' work to depathologize homosexuality was positive because it called out serious abuses of power and fought for a holistic view of well being. Unfortunately, many tried to distance themselves from other Mad people as well. Queer lib should mean bodily autonomy for us all.
Doctors (as they currently exist) are not our friends. The medical establishment's relationship to us has always been one of gatekeeping and violence. We do not need to hand them more power.

Please look at the lives of disabled people to see just how violent medicine can be.
The level of apprehension I've seen regarding rejecting the framing that transness is an inborn medical condition best "treated" by "medically necessary care" is a bit frustrating, given how much that framing has been used to surveil us, gatekeep care, and leave us at the mercy of abusive doctors.

"She giggled and made a shushing motion before flitting off playfully.
Abby gave chase, and soon the two of them had forgotten their original task, swimming and dancing around each other until they had gone..."
