I just learned the Bugs Bunny No meme doesn't even come from him saying no. It's a frame rotated 90 degrees from him taking a drink from a bottle. I needed to share this.

So! The NiGHTS storybook sequel that I'm working on is being released next year for NiGHTS' 30th. Manuscript writing is 80% complete, so I'm beginning the illustration process now, starting with end-page illustrations...I think it's going pretty well so far ;D

the reason 101 dalmations looks like that is because disney incorporated xerography (ie early photocopying technology) into the animation process. rough pencils (by mostly male animators) were copied onto the cels so that disney could fire the (mostly female) inkers. remember that art can lie to you
