There's also a case for potentially stealing a fakemon design from a fan. There's a chance the designer could've given the Palworld devs the design to use, but theres equal chance it could've been stolen and used without their consent. The design is once again, eerily similar.

That being said, I do feel Nintendo has a valid legal case regarding some of the Pal designs bc some of them are eerily close to actual Pokémon designs, to the point one thing was changed.
