Another day of unseasonably cool weather across the eastern third of the U.S. today, while the western two-thirds will see unseasonably warm readings. Warm temperatures push further east by mid-week, while cooler readings return to the west by the weekend. Visit weather.gov for your area weather.

just realized I ended up walking about 4 miles this morning AFTER work, all of which was on concrete/asphalt, and as the first verb might imply I was really not considering this at the time. probably going to go get an ice pack but I wish this wandering initiative would have started in, like, my 20s

I think we sometimes love certain places as they reflect what we feel, but can't say aloud. There's an old Hookland phrase – to be tulled – meaning to be caught between two worlds and at home in neither of them. I feel that a lot and I'm sure my favourite places do as well. – Martha Twilling #VOH

Sadistic, marauding fascist monsters having a tourist moment. “The photo op came after agents tear-gassed a Little Village street and were spotted in the area numerous times. At the Bean, one agent shouted, ‘Everyone say, “Little Village!”’”

tonight's edition of "could a depressed person make THIS- apparently yes."
figured I've studded enough straight lines in my life so we'd try something else this time; WIP and the whole edge won't be as jumbled, but decent proof of concept so far imo

my upcoming Underworld show is subtitled "Open to Close" which apparently means it's two sets, all them, no opener, and my only complaint is that they didn't go with "Katabasis/Anabasis" instead

YOUR RIDE IS HERE (2024)
Acrylic on Paper, 13” x 8 ¼”
As I take afternoon walks, I relish the reds, golds, and greens all around me. It’s no accident to see the colors of autumn represented on my palette. 1/3
