Does anyone have guidance on how the proscription of Palestine Action might affect academic freedom? The worrying part for scholars of Palestine/Israel would seem to be 'whether what you say about them could encourage others to support them'. Would appreciate info or links to existing discussions!

The way the woman in question they're harassing happens to be a trans woman rings mega alarm bells for me, because with how hysterical Britain is against trans women combined with anything they deem "Palestine Action" seems like a nuclear approach for police harassment and violence

According to this armed officer in Kent, simply holding a Palestine flag and displaying 'Free Gaza' and 'Israel is committing Genocide' is possible grounds for arrest for supporting Palestine Action (and for unlawfully taking personal details)
