我预感语保（方言、小语种保护）在未来可能和动保、环保一样在国内舆论场上成为男大的新靶子。
语保和后两者的特征是相通的：都讲究多元性、保护少数，而且都需要经费、又被质疑缺少“实用性”。
其次，由于报考人文专业的多为女性，所以语保工作的成员也逐渐以年轻女性为主。
方言母语者大多为中老年人，所以劳保在总体上反而会支持语保。但是对于以汉族理工男大为主体的小保而言，他们要保普通话的守，就必然会去激烈反对语保工作。
