Sorry – the killing of Charlie Kirk was wrong, but having his body flown on Air Force 2, flags at half-mast, having him lie in state, putting a statute of him in the Capitol, and giving him a Presidential Medal of Freedom are all entirely inappropriate.

Strange that a person can be depressed, but not suicidal, and those who do unalive themselves may never show any obvious signs of distress.
Is it possible that there is a kind of self-destruction gene or personality tic that can go dormant for years, only to be triggered at some point?
