We kinda do this every year for taxes. Right around March first we invite our friends to try to do their own taxes without TurboTax or hr block. We offer inexpert help, a printer and free tax usa and beer. Making it feel like a game night.
This hits so hard. I’m so tired of creating accounts for everything. Existing takes a lot more effort than it should these days.
This is...sort of brilliant.

Omg. Ok folks. You need to do this—big feeds, please amplify ( @kevinmkruse.bsky.social maybe you can too)
Wondering why no one likes your posts anymore, even among your friends? It's because @jay.bsky.team and team have decided to hide a huge amount of content from all of our feeds by default.

Here's how to turn it off.

The Visualize 2050 plan

... still calls for 40% of transit to be single-person and 40% to be multiple-person car travel by 2050.

80%+ of trips in car travel!

We can do better. We can envision a better world.

How about also:

- Continuing to update zoning requirements to allow 16-foot wide townhouses
- Allow by right low impact commercial and industrial in residential
- Pedestrianize King all the way to the metro. Then, Mt Vernon
- Remove parking minimums

BPAC prefers options 1B, 2A, 3, 4A, 5A, 6A, and supports the proposed future option for trail & metro access, if you want to follow their lead

I had a lovely call with customer service. The account person was on our side regarding freedom of speech and is sending the report up the chain as high as she can! Hopefully we'll see results soon!
I would encourage folks to give Giant Foods a call today. They are still advertising on WJLA and they need to hear from us that we are pulling our dollars until that stops. 888-469-4426

I said they had been my safe spot with no target or Amazon brands so I need them to straighten up so we can eat.

Just rewatched "Who framed Rodger Rabbit." How did a children's movie about racism, redlining and the removal of mass transit get made in the 80's? Also it is a masterpiece of cinema and comedy.
