I agree. How can someone purposely do this??? Unfortunately there will be other very disturbing photos . We need to balance and take care of ourselves to keep resisting and working to change this insane direction.....

You voted for a poll tax, and while maybe Maine won't use it to screw over women in and minorities, there are a whole bunch of states represented by the people who voted along with you for whom voter suppression of citizens who don't vote for them is the entire point of this garbage law.

You are wrong! Elections should not cost anything to vote in and now it will. There will be every roadblock to getting the proper ID including financial. Every citizen should get the required ID for free and all fees for documents should be waived. Call it whatever you want, but that is a poll tax!
