This is the problem. No consequences for your criminal activities. They used to just buy their way out of it, obfuscate and delay, appeal to infinity, create legislative loopholes. Now they just ignore the law.
The reason the Epstein files are not being released according to law is because there are no consequences. They get to break the law without facing jail time.

The cruelty is the point. Alex Pretti's parents found out their son was murdered from an AP journalist, and still had not heard from any official as of Saturday night. We still do not know the name of the federal officer who killed him. Cruel sadists. They murdered a "good guy with a gun".
