The whole point of democracy is so one person's derangement does not become everybody's problem. It's social hygiene. The fact the richest men in the West are a mix of grotty twelve year olds and deranged apocalypse fanatics is a problem, and we should be honest about it.

The FT has been consistently good on this stuff, the only outlet to really take coreweave seriously, had great reporting, probably my fav business outlet. The Altman oil piece by bryce elder is one of the most devastating things I've ever read

I don't have much of a following but I found this to be an excellent read and want to signal boost it. Even though I felt 'seen' as a huge fan of Derren Brown who always took the time to explain how these cons work, but hadn't applied that critical eye to this topic. 🙂
Don't self-experiment with psychological hazards! I can't stress this enough!
