When people say that A.I. is or may become conscious, what do they mean? What entity do they have in mind? Surely the programming can’t be conscious, anymore than a TV show could. Do they mean the computers running the program are conscious? Which computers? My laptop?

Fareed Zakaria just said the US promises to be the world’s first multi-ethnic nation. I guess he has never heard of Canada. (He also thinks no republicans voted for Cuomo.) #clown

This is very well done and far more direct than we have come to expect from the NYTimes. Yet they still don’t call for his removal.
New York Times editorial board has compiled "a list of 12 markers of democratic erosion." www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

This is what "not the odds, but the stakes" was all about.

During the 2024 campaign, those 12 markers could have been in place and operating to guide news coverage everywhere.

Trump slammed for demolishing White House before Canadians could burn it down again
WASHINGTON D.C. - US President Donald Trump's planned White House ballroom, requiring the complete demolition of the historic East Wing, is being criticized by Canadians who will now never get to light the building on fire for a second time since the War of 1812.

Watch this.

Open your eyes to this brutality.

ICE beats up, drags & abducts this disabled visually impaired man.

Now share this.

Everyone must see the brutality of this administration & ask themselves what they are doing to push back.

You have power.

Even sharing this video exerts that power.

Rebel State leader instructs residents as Imperial Forces approach.
As Trump marches toward militarizing San Francisco:

- Memorize contact info in case of arrest
- Plan ahead if you have children or medication
- Speak out PEACEFULLY and at a distance

Stay smart, safe, and don’t give them the excuse they're wanting to escalate their crackdown.
