My favorite thing, other than the food at Grand Szechuan in Bloomington, is watching Minnesotans come to terms with the reality that there are more flavors in the world than just gravy.

Nine years ago today I received a new heart from a family I’ll never know, because they asked for no contact. I’m alive today thanks to their ability to send love out into the world, even during a time of profound loss.
I’m forever grateful and hope the memory of their loved one is a blessing. 💝🫀

I’m pretty lax about finding the new features. This is a great tip for folks who just want to see replies in chronological order.
Making this change wing make the shit posters and battle bots go away, but at least it won’t force you to deal with them first, each time you revisit a reply thread.

I spent 18 of the last 20 days in the hospital and my brain and sleep schedule are completely upside down. Trying hard not to overreact to all that was discovered and learned but man it’s hard. Infusion center today and then a family and rest day on Thanksgiving. Need life to slow down for awhile.

Today marks 14 years since my mom Bev DeVos passed of cancer, I was just 19 at the time. Grief never ends, just changes. If you're seeing this, consider it a sign to hug your loved ones a little extra close today! Or to reach out to someone who has suffered loss with a memory of their loved one. ❤️
