Mets fan
A thing that I’ve thought about a lot today: whatever positive memories we all have of Alonso, Diaz and Nimmo, the Mets were unwatchable last year. It was brutal watching them given the way they played. Diaz was never part of that. Nimmo, to me, was a big part of it. Alonso was kind of part of it.

“It was the BLURST of times?!” Anytime things are bad in a comical or unlikely way… the blurst of times
what's the stupidest/randomest Simpsons quote that lives in your head rent free? Mine is the urge to say "you said go to bread" every time I am about to head to bed.

No matter what happens tomorrow, I think we’ve now firmly established that you bet against the Mets in game 161 at your peril

The lack of attention to detail is what I loathe about this team

Sloppy and careless people
ProPublica looked into science grants that Ted Cruz's team flagged as "radical" and "neo-Marxist" and, uh.

This would be good comedy if it didn't matter so much www.propublica.org/article/ted-...

Holy shit! You’ve got to see this town hall. Republicans are starting to get torn apart by their own constituents.

Rep. Rich McCormick: “You don’t think I’m going to stand up for you?”

Woman in the crowd: “You need to stand up.”

Another woman: “Don’t bend over.” 🔥

President Zelenskyy has been one of the greatest leaders of our time, guiding Ukraine through the darkest period of its recent history, rising up to Russia’s unwarranted aggression, being an inspiration to the Ukrainian people and ensuring that Ukraine’s voice is heard on the world stage.

I want to ask people excusing Musk’s Nazi salute: if you truly believe he’s so autistic that he can’t grasp social norms, why is he running society? Or was he hired under the inclusivity programs Republicans love to fight? Stop shielding him—he knows exactly what he’s doing. It’s disgraceful.
