Farewell Theo
We imagine death ahead of us, at the end. Instead, it starts behind, at the very beginning. Picking off all we’ve known, every day, inexorably. Until there’s nothing left.

We are the Sun it overtakes.

“I don’t care, gimme a coke”
What's a line from #MST3K that's in your personal lexicon. I have two:

I think I've done my part for the Spix's Macaw (said when someone asks you do something but you're tired)

You can pet that old Llama. Ain't no law says you cain't (when you don't care enough to stop someone from doing dumb)

Cheep Jeep update:

Within 48 hours of acquisition we’ve got throw out bearing whine, CELs for cyl 6 misfire + alternator, power to steering column (signals, wipers, airbag) goes out when it rains. Oh, and e-brake light won’t turn off.

Basically, I’m in love.

Have we found an electronic noise as widely expressive as bells?

Simultaneously heartening, somber, joyous, melancholy. Such a human sound.
