The middle frame here is critical. It shows the position of the officer's feet when the *first* shot was fired. He appears already out of danger. And then the subsequent shots from the side into the driver's window look like straight up kill shots after the car had turned and was passing him.
I think it's highly likely Trump aides tried to avoid showing him the video that displays the shooting into the window from the side of the car, taken from the back, because it shows the officer was in no sense in life-threatening danger when he fired the shots:

If the American position is that the Maduro regime was illegitimate (which it was), and corrupt (ditto), and criminal (absolutely)—then . . . why is the entire regime still in place, except for Maduro and his wife?

The RSF militia, backed by the United Arab Emirates, has slaughtered countless civilians in Sudan.

The US keeps selling arms to the UAE despite their support for these crimes. And Trump only cares about cutting deals with the Emiratis.

Enough. No more weapons for war crimes.

Meta has removed a Chicago ICE-tracking Facebook page.

The move follows Apple and Google removing ICE activity tracking apps from their app stores.

The removals came after a demand from Trump’s DOJ.

Once again, Big Tech is bending the knee to our tyrant-in-chief to protect its bottom line.

The GOP's tax cuts for their billionaire donors ballooned the deficit, so they're blaming the problem on Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid — demanding cuts to programs that millions of Americans rely on. It's socialism for the rich, harsh capitalism for everyone else.

Government’s wins are often invisible: Systems that avoid plane crashes; alliances that avert war; surveillance that prevent pandemics.

Government wins are often *the avoidance of loss.*

So how do we tell the story of the destruction of government? The story of future losses *not* averted?

Republicans want to slash Medicaid — a death sentence for thousands of Americans. Medicaid provides health care to more than 37 million kids, funding for 2/3 of seniors in nursing homes & is 40% of the revenue for community health centers.

We must EXPAND Medicaid, not cut it.
