Funny thing about that filibuster. If the senate had done away with it at the beginning of Obama's term or even Biden's, we wouldn't now have ultra conservative majorities in all three branches of government. Buy they were cowards, so now we're here.

Imagine asking a judge how to fund food stamps during the shutdown and the judge telling you to use the $3 billion you set aside for exactly that purpose, only for you to tell the judge "no, I don't want to."

So what did we learn from the NYC mayoral election?
I think it's simply this: when you talk TO your constituents instead of AT then, you get better results. Seems like most politicians have forgotten that in this era of the Anerican experiment.
