This is so true! It's why I am always unhappy with car drivers who are grumpy at me for waiting for them to stop - I am not going to risk my life for a second of your life. Make it clear you'll stop then I'll go.

Fully agree! Today's Berlin-Paris night train is not running due to the carriages being unavailable... Very likely that the old and disfunctional state of them caused this!

Would be nice if they did Italy to Germany connections first #crossborserrail! It's not like there's much space for more trains in Germany - the infra is quite full, especially at key points and if they replace ICEs then this is worse for customers in case of delays - tickets are already cheap!

Some trains still seem not to appear though on the Paris-Milano route, which is a bit weird as usually DB knows their trains. With 60€ (44€+15.90€) tickets for Paris to Pisa I'm very happy about this way of checking options though!

I checked for SNCF and Trenitalia connections and found no difference in price. The booking process worked well with pdf ticket download. Main downside is not choosing your own seat. However I got no email from DB about it, but they appear in DB Navigator, which is not ideal. @jonworth.eu

Now imagine Great British Rail joining too and having an actual app that works and shows all trains even just in England properly and ideally the whole British Iles! But I guess that's just a dream...

Just seen that Trenitalia is also included and not just in Italy but also in France! Now we just need Spain to join and the stupid Ouigo train classique trains to appear in the DB timetables and ticketing will be revolutionised quite a bit already!

Thank you! Looking forward to your analysis. I think some of the Sparpreis tickets might be cheaper than anything else but definitely as usual for France some tickets are just ridiculous prices and it'd very likely that you could find okay-ish tickets directly or with competitors...
