I lived in Portland for 13 years. I have family and many friends still there, and I visit often. It is a beautiful, thriving city, one in which I have never felt unsafe.

As someone whose parent was diagnosed with late-stage cancer, I feel it necessary to remind people that Biden is a human being, one who is dying, and his family is grieving. Let them be in peace for whatever time he has remaining. This treatment by the media abhorrent.
